Hello! I’m James - a photo/video guru, fabricator, and full-time lover of vintage cars, born and raised in the Midwest.
If I’m not working in the garage, I’m scouring Facebook Marketplace or the local junkyard for all the parts and pieces I need to complete... well, something in the garage.
Fixing up and bringing these old cars back to life is what I love to do, and I can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support - whether it be through views, likes, follows, subscribes - whatever it is, it’s more than appreciated.

How it started…
In 2021, I posted a TikTok video of myself leaving a note on a crusty, local Volkswagen Pickup - an early eighties mini-truck that I’ve always wanted. Ten hours and almost 250,000 views later, I realized that I had picked a scab with the Internet. Followers, likes and comments flooded-in by the hundreds as people reminisced about the truck; recalling the best of times and experiences but ultimately landing at, “Wow… I really hope you get this thing.”
Although ultimately that initial truck wasn’t for sale, that evening, I received a message from a friend that read, “If you come out to Washington, I can hook you up with one.” So, 1 plane ticket, 2,500 miles, a lot of coffee, and a few (more than a few) breakdowns later, I finally got my 1980 Sunbrite Yellow Rabbit home… and the rest was history.
